Fuel theft from parked cars

From Chorley Police - On the 27th of November 2024 in various areas of Rivington and Anderton, during the early hours of the morning between 01:00 AM - 06:00 AM, a group of suspected people have been drilling into cars attempting to steal fuel from residents. We have had a number of reports concerning this.

We are asking anyone with any information to get in touch. Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have been and will be continuing to conduct enquiries whilst the investigations are ongoing. The reports are being collated and aggrieved parties spoken with.

This is an ongoing investigation which we have CCTV and further lines of enquiry to follow.
